The CoovaRADIUS server software is written in Java and offers a full featured RADIUS server to control your edge network. Available for Unix, Mac, and Windows. Use it for 802.1X (secure wireless) or Hotspot captive portal authentication, using the embedded Java portal, Drupal, or your own custom portal software. With an easy to program API, the options are endless.

At the heart of the CoovaRADIUS server is JRadius, our open-source RADIUS Java client and server framework. The core JRadius libraries are licensed under the GNU Library General Public License (LGPL) and allow you to write your own RADIUS logic (server-side and client-side) in the Java language.
